Dance Flow

May 2008

Spring is in the air dance fans. Enjoy the change from the cool of winter to freshness of spring. Life is always changing and evolving. Always moving and growing. As is your journey in dance. If you are not moving and growing, changing and evolving then you are dying! (or sitting watching everyone else dance!) There is so much of life to enjoy. You have to view life with an eye for fun and excitement every day. When you are truly enjoying life you are moving, growing. Expanding all areas of your life. You are living! You are dancing through life!

DF2 Ballroom Theatre will be performing May 2nd at the
Roswell Adult Recreation Center. That Friday is the kick off dance to the North Fulton County Golden Games.  The dance and performance will also be our outing for this month. The dance is free. The food is free. The fun is free! The dance Kicks off at 7pm with the first of two DF2 shows. Come and join us for all the excitement. The Rec. Center is located at 850 Grimes Bridge Road in Roswell. Talk to me if you need more info.

Rhonda Anderson, Vicki Couch, and Dr. Sheila Zercoe, will be competing in The Atlanta Open, dance competition May 8th, 9th and 10th. I thank them for the time and effort, fun and excitement they have put forth in preparation for this extravaganza. We are going to have a great time.

Those three gals and numerous others will be competing June 28th in the second annual Atlanta Metro Dancesport dance competition. I will provide the updates next month.

The DF2 almost annual cruise is heading to the Mexican Riviera! There is still room to join me. Click on the link for info. Feel free to call me with any questions. The cruise is scheduled for October 25 to
November 1, 2008.  There is still time to join us for the fun.  Details here.

To all my new "family members". There are many reasons to learn to dance. One of the main reasons of course is that it is fun, in many ways. And one of the ways of having fun dancing is to actually do it. You know, going out and dancing. At one of our outings for example. Like this month, for example. Of course when you are beginning you lack confidence and can be a little, ok, maybe a lot, intimidated. Guess what? That is ok. There is nothing wrong with feeling that way. It is natural. You must realize, when you go to the dances we go to, it is user friendly. Most of the people at these dances have been dancing for awhile and have "been there, done that". Everyone is supportive and glad to see you there. So take a deep breath and go for it. Have
FUN! And remember: the more fun you have, the faster you get there! Even if you don't make it.

Keep Smiling!

Wayne
